With nearly four decades of experience as a multiplatinum, Billboard No. 1 recording engineer, mixing engineer, producer, pianist, arranger, and music engraver, I have worked throughout Hollywood’s leading recording studios and contributed to projects for major artists, record labels, film studios, and music publishers.
My work has been commissioned or distributed by companies including Disney, Pixar, Sony Music Publishing, Universal Music and Pictures, Capitol Records, and Hal Leonard. My recent arranging, transcription, and engraving projects include music associated with Lady Gaga, Adele, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, John Legend, Lauren Daigle, Lewis Capaldi, Megan Moroney, Elton John, and Sarah McLachlan. Recent piano arrangements include Lady Gaga’s “Joanne” and “Always Remember Us This Way,” along with detailed transcriptions created for professional performers, pianists, singers, and music students.
In addition to my studio and arranging career, I spent more than a decade teaching recording engineering, music production, and audio technology at UCLA. I have also taught at Musicians Institute, Pinnacle College, and in public schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. This wide range of teaching experience allows me to adapt lessons to each student’s age, ability, musical interests, and professional goals—whether they are taking their first lesson or preparing for a career in the music industry.

“If you always create music for the love of music, you will never fail.”
That belief has guided me throughout my life and career. I call it “music for music’s sake”—the idea that genuine passion, curiosity, and respect for the craft should always come first.

“If you always create music for the love of music, you will never fail.”
That belief has guided me throughout my life and career. I call it “music for music’s sake”—the idea that genuine passion, curiosity, and respect for the craft should always come first.
My musical foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and many years of intensive study in New York City with accomplished musicians and educators. Combined with decades of professional experience in recording studios, classrooms, arranging, production, and performance, these experiences have shaped the way I understand and teach music.
My goal is to share that knowledge in a practical, encouraging, and inspiring way. Whether you are just beginning or developing advanced professional skills, we will combine passion with disciplined practice and continue the tradition of making meaningful, lasting music.
